Narrow Plains nominated as Best Country/Folk Act in UMAs
We have just been informed that, out of almost 3,000 applications for the Unsigned Music Awards 2016, we have made it through to the final 5 nominees in the Best Country / Folk category.
The show will be held at the Troxy Theatre, London, on the evening of Thursday, 27 October, where the winner will be announced.
The televised show, presented by Laura Whitmore and Chris Stark, is to be attended by a host of celebrities, national press, music press and a great deal of music industry figures and executives. The red carpet opens at 6.30pm with the show set to begin at 7.45, finishing around 10.30pm.

Festival Season, and a new single announcement!
Its been a hectic few weeks for us, what with it being the summer and all. So far this summer, we’ve had the pleasure of playing the Lechlade Festival, Colourfest, the Amprocks festival, Willowfest and Shepstock. Plus we’ve still got Redfest to look forward to on the 25th July. Its been tiring, but the crowds have been fantastic and the atmosphere at every festival has been great. It probably helped that every single one was sunny as well 🙂
We’ve also been working hard to finish our single, which we’re mastering this week. It features two brand new tracks: ‘So Rewind’, and ‘Keep You Anyway’. It will be coming out on Itunes, Spotify, Amazon etc etc etc at some point in the next few weeks!
